A guide to re-inventing your Instagram
Are you tired of seeing the same aesthetically pleasing Instagram posts with the neutral palette? Nothing wrong with it, but Instagram can be used to show off more the more artistic and playful side of you. There are no limits, experimentation with lights, editing or even simple posing. There are many ways you can go.
Pick your current music style/taste to determine which kind of MAKEOVER your Instagram can go through :
Rap/ HipHop / Hardcore Rap (Self - explanatory)
Go for a mysterious yet cool look :
Revamp your Instagram with smoke, dark filters and find spots/places are witty using their art. Lower the exposure of your pictures to give a mysterious vibe. Try to take pictures with flash at night.
EDM/Techno (Think Boiler rooms)
Channel the techno vibe into your Instagram. Edit your pictures to make them more psychedelic. It does not have to be complicated, simple edits using apps can be done on your phone. 5 minutes of extra work will make your Instagram unique AF. Try the double exposure! Go for a trippy, trance theme. Find objects and try to get an angle that makes them look hypnotic.

Instrumentals of piano's,violins... (Think the legendary Hans Zimmermann)
You have a gift for appreciating people in general. The subtleties of instrumentals can only be picked out by those who always make someone's day. If not already, how about an understated Instagram theme. Rid your pictures of a bit of saturation, and try taking more candid pictures. Candid pictures of you, your moments and your friends. In fact, for you, a neutral palette Instagram might set a good tone.
Chill vibe at night (Think R&B/ Soul, LoFi)
Try playing with the tints in your pictures. Go on the cooler side and create a theme has a lot of neon or fairy lights. It is really easy to find a pair of fairy lights at home. Experiment a little. Have a look at Brandon Woelfel's Instagram to get some inspiration.
Dance/beachy kind of vibe ( Think Latin)
How about a tropical theme ? Edit digital flowers into your pictures, maybe make it a little psychedelic. Try putting really bright pictures in pastel blue or yellow backgrounds (this is all editing btw). This is also a great time to incorporate the "Row of Pictures" trend in Instagram. You know what I am talking about, where one picture or different edits on one picture is spread over three posts. Have fun with it.
